NSW police seek information into armed robbery at Parramatta

Detectives are appealing for public information into an armed robbery at a beauty salon in Parramatta yesterday.

Police have been told a man entered the beauty salon in a shopping centre on Church Street, Parramatta, about 3.10pm (Monday 21 February 2022).

The man threatened a female employee with a knife before stealing cash from the register and leaving the scene.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were contacted and commenced an investigation.

As part of inquiries, detectives have identified a man who may be able to assist with their investigation.

He’s described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build with a beard. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded jumper, black sunglasses, purple tracksuit pants, black and white Nike sneakers, and a black face mask.
