Tourism NT is supporting 10 Territorytourism operators take part in Australia Marketplace USA, a joint trade eventtaking place from today, Monday 26 to Thursday 29 August 2019 in ManhattanBeach, Los Angeles.

Australia Marketplace USA bringstogether over 100 key North American Wholesale Owners/Product Managers and 100Australian tourism products and services, creating the opportunity to provideupdates and secure preferred agreements, as well as the chance to meet andtrain select Preferred Retail Agents.

The program begins with a Northern Territoryindustry update and reception today followed by three daysof one-on-one appointments and networking opportunities.

Representing the Territory at AustraliaMarketplace USA are Emu Run Experience, Uluru Segway Tours, Uluru Camel Tours,Wayoutback Australian Safaris, Outback Tours Services, SEIT Outback Australia,Intrepid Travel/Adventure Tours and AAT Kings, with Voyages Indigenous Tourismand Journey Beyond are also attending as national operators.

Australia Marketplace USA is a jointState Tourism Organisation (STO) trade event by the Coalition of AustralianStates and Territories (COAST) North America including Tourism NT, DestinationNSW, South Australia Tourism Commission, Tourism and Events Queensland, TourismTasmania, Visit Victoria and Tourism WA.

The USA is the NTs largestinternational market with the Tourism Research Australia visitor data for theyear ending March 2019 showing a 6.5 per cent increase in visitors from the USon the previous year.
