Police can confirm that a man has died following a single vehicle fatal crash on Convent Road, Otaki early this morning.
Police were notified of the crash around 1:15am when a car went off the road.
Sadly, one person died at the scene and two other occupants were taken to hospital in moderate conditions.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
