As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greene, Waikato Police
Police have arrested a 28-year-old male associate of the Comanchero gang in relation to an aggravated robbery incident last year.
The aggravated robbery, and subsequent alleged assault of a police officer, happened in Mount Maunganui, in the Bay of Plenty, on July 20, 2018. A 29-year-old male was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with aggravated robbery.
The investigation has remained ongoing regarding other people involved in this incident.
