Police are attending a scene in Rongomai Park after a report of what is believed to be a body in water.
A member of the public contacted Police at 4.08pm.
The scene is at a secluded pond within the park, near Ōtara.
Police Search and Rescue are in attendance to reach the area and undertake a recovery operation.
Walkway entrances into Rongomai Park have temporarily been cordoned off while Police continue our work at the scene.
