Police can now release the name of the man who was found deceased near Point Elizabeth on Saturday 1 June.
He was Richard Rangiruru Norton, 52, of Cobden.
Police extend their sympathies to Mr Norton’s family and friends.
The matter will be referred to the Coroner.
