Police can now name the man who died in a single vehicle crash on State Highway 35, Opotiki on Tuesday 16 April.
He was 54-year-old Arnold Stephen Maraki of Kapiti Coast, Wellington.
Police extend their sympathies to Mr Maraki’s friends and family at this difficult time.
The investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
