Police investigating a suspicious fire in Gore are seeking information from the public.
Southland Area Response Manager Senior Sergeant Gary Iddenten says at around 5am on Friday 12 June, emergency services were called to a house fire on Lawrence Street.
“Fortunately, nobody was injured in the fire, however it has since been deemed suspicious.
“To assist our enquiries, we’re seeking any information from members of the public who witnessed the fire or saw any suspicious activity around the Lawrence Street area in the early hours of Friday morning.
“We’re also appealing for any dashcam or CCTV footage from the area.”
