To facilitate the ongoing construction works on O’Callaghans Parade, the northbound lane will be closed from Monday 13 July for an expected period of two weeks.
This closure is intended to allow safer conditions for workers and expedite the project delivery while minimising overall disruptions for the community.
Traffic management and detour arrangements will be in place to ensure smooth traffic flow while the works are conducted. Access for pedestrians and emergency services is expected to be maintained.
During the closure, northbound (towards the CBD) traffic will be detoured via Hocking Street and the southern section of Firebrace Street.
Council understands this closure may inconvenience regular users of O’Callaghans Parade, and the community’s patience while these essential works are completed is greatly appreciated.
