Oaky Creek Bridge replacement on Willi Willi Road

Kempsey Shire Council

Oaky Creek Bridge on Willi Willi Road will be replaced with a new concrete bridge in August and September.

Kempsey Shire Council will replace Oaky Creek Bridge between Monday 28 August and will finish up on Friday 13 September, weather permitting. Workers will be onsite between 7am and 4pm.

Willi Willi Road between Temagog Road and Turners Flat Road will be closed as the replacement takes place. Residents will need to use alternate routes.

Letters will be sent and signage installed to advise residents of the upcoming road closure.

Once constructed, Oaky Creek Bridge will be a new concrete structure, able to withstand heavier loads and provide safer conditions.

Costs for this replacement is part of Council’s $20.5 million funding from the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Bridges program.
