Officer Charged in Darwin 7 August

A Northern Territory Police Officer has been arrested and charged for an alleged traffic offence committed on 6 August 2021.

The 42-year-old officer has been charged with:

  • Fail to supply a sufficient sample of breath analysis.

The officer has been bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 18 August 2021.

The officer has been suspended with pay and the matter is under investigation by the Professional Standards Command.

As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
