A police officer has been charged following an investigation into an alleged affray last year.
In December last year, an internal investigation commenced following an alleged affray at Chatswood Railway Station.
Following inquiries, on Wednesday 9 March 2022, a 41-year-old male – attached to a command in the North West Metropolitan Region – was issued a court attendance notice.
The man has been charged with affray and will appear before Hornsby Local court on Wednesday 27 April 2022.
His employment status remains under review.
