Officer Injured, South Brisbane

Police are seeking public assistance following the attempted break in to a South Brisbane premises this morning.

Just before 5am police were called to a Bouquet Street unit complex after reports the men were trying to gain entry to a storage area in the car park.

On arrival police observed two men in a parked white Toyota Kluger with black rims.

Police approached the vehicle on foot and asked the people to exit the car.

The driver has then driven into the parked police vehicle twice before turning to drive away. As the vehicle left one of the officers was knocked over.

A 30-year-old female Senior Constable was taken to hospital as a precaution for bruising and abrasions. She was released shortly afterwards.

The driver is described as 30 to 35-years-old and was wearing a black t-shirt and light-coloured shorts.

The other man was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Police are asking if anyone does see the men to not approach them or the vehicle.
