One week to go to Pharmacy Connect 2022

There’s only seven days remaining until the community pharmacy industry comes together for Pharmacy Connect in Sydney over 1-3 September.

Convenor, Kos Sclavos AM, said the excitement is building for Pharmacy Connect Conference after being postponed for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Pharmacy Connect is good to go! There are two pre-conference workshops, two days of educational sessions, over 30 speakers and a sold-out trade exhibition with 50-plus exhibitors,” said Mr Sclavos.

“Whether you are a proprietor, pharmacist, intern or pharmacy assistant, Pharmacy Connect is your opportunity to network, upskill and have fun in the second half of the year.”

“Attendees will hear from the likes of Peter Baines OAM, Strategic Advisor on leadership matters; Besa Deda, Westpac’s Westpac Business Bank’s Chief Economist on the new trends shaping the way we live; and Hon Emma McBride MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and the only pharmacist in the Federal Government.”

“We understand the current workforce issues in community pharmacy. If you cannot make the full conference, that’s ok. There’s a range of registration options available to suit your schedule, including shared registrations.”

A shared registration enables more than one pharmacist or pharmacy assistant from the same store to experience Pharmacy Connect, without committing to a full day or days away from the pharmacy.

“If you live in the greater New South Wales region, make a day trip to Pharmacy Connect for only $330 with full access to the day’s educational sessions and the sold-out trade exhibition.”

“Also, the trade exhibition is free to attend so anyone wanting to meet with suppliers can come and view the trade exhibition on Friday and Saturday at no cost,” said Mr Sclavos.
