One year anniversary of unstable and divided government

Tasmanian Labor

Today marks one year since Peter Gutwein held an early election on the promise of a strong and stable government.

In this year alone we have seen three cabinet resignations, including the resignation of Peter Gutwein himself.

Now Tasmanians have the weak Rockliff-Fergusson Government.

This is not the government that Tasmanians thought they were voting for at last years early election.

Since then, there has been nothing but chaos in the Liberal Party, with self interest winning out over doing their actual job.

We are now into our fifth month of 2022 and parliament has sat for just nine days.

This weak and unstable government is tired and out of touch with Tasmanians’ needs and has failed to deliver the basics for the Tasmanian people and the state’s economy.
