Optus switches on a new mobile tower in Muswellbrook

Optus has switched on a new tower in Muswellbrook, bringing improved mobile coverage to the Upper Hunter region.

The new tower will improve 4G mobile coverage for those travelling along Hassell Road and the the New England Highway between Muswellbrook and Singleton.

Optus Territory General Manager for North West New South Wales, Chris Simon said, Its fantastic that we have been able to bring improved coverage to Upper Hunter region, reducing call drop outs along the New England highway and enabling residents to stay connected with their friends and family through reliable voice and data access.

With a significant number of people travelling between Muswellbrook and Singleton along the New England Highway each day, we understand the importance of having reliable mobile reception in these areas and have taken action n to ensure this is the case with the build of this new tower, Mr Simon added.

Its great to know our customers are benefitting from our continued network investment in this region and this new site reinforces Optus commitment to providing fast and reliable mobile and internet coverage across Muswellbrook.
