Overflow parking to support popular play space

The City of Whittlesea has started construction on a temporary gravel overflow parking area at the All Abilities Play Space to support the high number of visitors to the reserve.

The gravel parking area will provide spots for 51 vehicles and is in addition to the 77 parking spaces (including 8 disabled bays) already provided within the reserve. It will be open daily between 8am to 8pm.

Construction of this temporary car park is expected to be complete by 24 December 2021.

The All Abilities Play Space, located at Mill Park Recreation Reserve, is the first fully fenced and accessible park in the City of Whittlesea. It features a multi-level accessible play tower, water play splash pad, a full-sized basketball court, agility equipment and more, designed to cater for all ages and abilities.
