Paid Family Domestic Violence leave on way

The Albanese Government will legislate for paid domestic violence leave following the recent Fair Work Commission’s provisional decision. Workplace Relations Minister Tony Burke has said in a recent letter to the Fair Work Commission:

Consistent with the commitments made in the Government’s Secure Australian Jobs Plan, the Government intends to introduce 10 days paid family and domestic violence leave into the National Employment Standards as soon as possible.
