Parramatta ready to rock with star-studded Australia Day concert

The City of Parramatta’s popular Australia Day in the Crescent concert is scheduled to return to Parramatta Park on 26 January 2022 with a star-studded line-up of Aussie musicians and performers.

Music fans of all ages will enjoy an evening of entertainment from some of Australia’s best rock acts, including singer and songwriter Jon Stevens, indie band Kingswood, and rock group the Baby Animals.

The Australian Rock Collective (ARC) – which comprises music legends Darren Middleton from Powderfinger, Mark Wilson from Jet, Kram from Spiderbait, and Davey Lane from You Am I – will get the party started at 5pm.

“We are thrilled to welcome people back to Parramatta Park for this spectacular summer concert event,” City of Parramatta CEO Brett Newman said.

“While we’ve had to adapt our usual Australia Day event in response to the challenges presented by the pandemic, we are looking forward to presenting a fun-filled evening of entertainment.

“The incredible line-up of new and established performers at our Australia Day in the Crescent concert is guaranteed to have the crowd on their feet and singing along to hit after hit, all night long.”

In addition to live music performances, the concert also includes a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony and concludes with a dazzling fireworks display. A wide selection of food and beverage options will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Australia Day in the Crescent is presented by the City of Parramatta in partnership with Live Nation and Greater Sydney Parklands.

Tickets to Australia Day in the Crescent are free (booking fee applies) and numbers are strictly limited.
