Pawsome Time Had By All

Animal lovers and their furry friends descended on Central Park on Sunday, 24 March for Pets in the Park 2024, marking 22 years of the much-loved event in Stonnington.

More than 3000 people and their pets gathered to enjoy the full program which included demonstrations from Melbourne Canine Freestyle and Wildlife Xposure, presentations from Channel 10’s Lara Shannon, Dr Melissa Meehan and chicken expert Jessamy Miller. There were competitions and activities for all ages to participate in like crafting pet rocks or posing for an Awkward Portrait with your furry friend.

Over 50 market stalls spilled into the gardens offering the latest pet products, treats and information, with many raising funds for local animal welfare organisations.

We also saw the return of the Pet Superstar competition which brought out record numbers for the best dressed and especially talented pooches to amaze everyone with their tricks.

For all attending, it was a fun and informative day out and a great way to spend some quality time with their pets.
