Pedestrian struck at Thebarton, South Australia

Police are investigating a crash at Thebarton this afternoon.

Police and paramedics were called to Murray Street, Thebarton just after midday on Saturday 6 March by reports a pedestrian had been hit by a van.

The pedestrian was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The driver of the van is currently speaking with police.

The investigation is in its early stages, but police believe an altercation may have occurred prior to the collision.

Murray Street, Thebarton is closed to all traffic while investigators examine the scene.
