Initial inquiries into a photo circulating on social media indicate it relates to a joint campaign with other stakeholders that was promoted in about 2007.
It appears the police van shown in the photo is parked at the police depot.
Inquiries are ongoing to establish the status of the vehicle.
If the vehicle is still in use then the signage will be removed from it as soon as practicable.
