Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Bendigo last month.
Investigators believe a woman stopped and assisted another woman who was distressed out the front of a property on 1 January 2019.
It is believed the woman stopped her vehicle, a small white vehicle about 1.50am and stayed with the woman until police arrived at the scene about 2.00am.
The woman left prior to police speaking with her and are appealing for the woman to come forward as they believe she may be able to assist with their enquiries.
She is described as Caucasian, aged between 50 and 60 years old with a thin build and grey hair.
