Police appeal – Serious assault at Burleigh, QLD

Police are seeking to identify two men who may be able to assist with their investigation into a serious assault at Burleigh last month.

Around 11.30pm on August 13, two groups were involved in a physical altercation in an underground car park on the Gold Coast Highway, Burleigh Heads. The two groups were not known to each other.

During the incident, a 21-year-old Southport man was punched in the head, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and was transported to Robina Hospital with head injuries. He has since been released.

Police are urging anyone who may know the two males depicted in the photo, or anyone who may have information in relation to the incident, to contact police.
