Police appeal to locate boy missing from Blacktown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from the Blacktown area.

Ketani Dixon, aged 9, was last seen entering a bus on Winsford Avenue, Hebersham, about 7am on Friday 8 December 2023.

When he was unable to be located, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following inquiries police believe he may have been at a shopping centre on Patrick Street, Blacktown, about 3.30pm on Saturday 9 December 2023.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Ketani due to his age and this being out of character.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 150cm tall, thin build, with brown eyes and short black hair.

Ketnai was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and black shoes.

He is known to frequent the Blacktown, Parramatta and Hebersham areas.
