Police appeal to locate girl missing from Bathurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Bathurst area.

Eva Therese Colley, aged 13, was last seen leaving a property on Willow Tree Lane, Mount Rankin, about 4.45pm on Saturday (12 August 2023).

When she did not return and was unable to be contacted or located, officers from Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Eva is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.

Eva is believed to be in the bushland near Mount Rankin, however she is known to frequent the Bathurst area.

Police will be conducting a search operation this morning with assistance from Police Rescue and the State Emergency Service (SES) around the Mount Rankin area.
