Police appeal to locate man missing from Auburn 20 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Auburn area.

Linwei Weng, aged 37, was last seen on Queen Street, Auburn, at 5pm yesterday (Tuesday 19 September 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Linwei’s welfare as this is out of character.

Linwei is described as Asian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, brown eyes and long black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants and a black backpack.

Linwei is believed to be in the Chatswood area.

Anyone who sees Linwei is urged to contact Auburn Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
