Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Ballina 29 June

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the North Coast.

Caine Tierney, aged 47, was last seen on Ross Street, Ballina, about 12.30pm on Wednesday 24 June 2026.

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Richmond Police District were notified and are continuing inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Caine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of large build, with shaved head, a red/greying beard, and blue/green coloured eyes.

He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a black Spiderman T-shirt. He is known to wear black prescription horn-rimmed glasses.

Caine is known to frequent the Ballina area.
