Police appeal to locate man missing from Campsie 4 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Qing Shi, aged 78, was last seen at an address on Fifth Avenue, Campsie, about 7.30pm on Tuesday (3 October 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold serious concerns for Qing’s welfare due to old age.

Qing is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of a thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and black pants

He is known to frequent the Strathfield and Belfield areas.

Anyone who has seen Qing or has information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
