Police appeal to locate man missing from Hunter Valley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Hunter Valley.

44-year-old Malcolm Appleby, also known as Raymond Parnell, was last seen driving east on the Hunter Expressway near Branxton, about 1.45am on Saturday 18 March 2023.

When he failed to return home, officers from Hunter Valley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Malcolm is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with unshaven and balding hair, and a large scar on one of his lower legs.

He may be driving a 2003 green Toyota Corolla with NSW number plate AW54NZ.

Anyone who may have seen Malcolm or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
