Police are appealing for public assistance to locate man missing from Sydney’s south west.
Joel Viviensby, aged 47, was last seen on Childs Avenue, Panania, on Sunday 16 August 2026.
When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified yesterday (Tuesday 25 August 2026) and officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Joel’s welfare as he requires regular medication.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and an unshaven face.
Joel is known to frequent both Queensland and South Australia.
