Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney’s CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney.

James Griffin, aged 56, was last seen leaving a medical facility at Darlinghurst about 10.40am on Thursday 21 September 2023.

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command were later notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Despite extensive inquiries, James has not been located. Police hold serious concerns about his welfare.

James is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of a medium build, grey facial hair, brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Kings Cross, Surry Hills, Waterloo, Woolloomooloo, Darlinghurst, and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact South Sydney Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
