Police appeal to locate man reported missing from Nowra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state’s South Coast.

Albertus Tervoort, also known as Albert, 72, was last seen at a home on Wondalga Crescent, Nowra, about 8am today (Tuesday 9 May 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family members hold concerns for Albert’s welfare, as he lives with dementia.

Albertus is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion, 170cm-180cm tall, with a slim build, grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket with white sleeves.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts, or who may have seen Albert, is urged to call Nowra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
