Police appeal to locate missing man – Cumberland PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.

Nawaiz Ali Gul, aged 21, was last seen leaving a hospital in Darcy Road, Westmead, about 8.30pm yesterday (Sunday 1 October 2023).

When he could not be contacted or located, he was reported missing to officers from Cumberland Police Area Command.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Nawaiz is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with brown eyes, black hair, a black beard and moustache.

He is known to frequent the Granville, Merrylands, and Merrylands West areas.

Anyone who sees Nawaiz or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Granville police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
