Police appeal to locate missing man – St George PAC 5 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney’s South.

Peter Purvan, aged 79, was last seen boarding a train at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport headed for Revesby about 8.50am yesterday (Friday 4 August 2023).

When Peter did not disembark at his intended station of Carlton, family reported him missing to officers attached to St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Peter’s welfare as he lives dementia.

Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 160-170cm tall, of medium build, with a short white hair and long grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a black and white button up shirt, black shorts, brown sandals, a black hat and carrying a black and rainbow backpack and green shopping bag.
