Police appeal to locate woman missing from Albury 30 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state’s south.

Shannon Wiesner, aged 42, last spoke with her family about 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 29 March 2023), but when she was unable to be contacted, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare.

Shannon is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm-170cm tall with a medium build, and brown hair. She also has a tattoo on her left wrist. It’s not known what she was wearing at the time.

Shannon is known to frequent the Albury area.
