Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Waratah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman reported missing from the Newcastle area.

Patricia Anne Palmer, aged 69, was last seen at a medical facility on Edith Street, Waratah, about 3.45pm today (Friday 26 June 2026).

When she did not return and could not be located, officers attached to Newcastle Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for her welfare.

Patricia is described as being of Caucasian appearance with medium build and short gray/brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black headband, brown floral cardigan, carrying a red purse, and is using a wheeled walking frame.

Anyone who sees her, or has information into her whereabouts is urged to call Triple-Zero (000), Newcastle police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
