Police appeals for help to locate Tarneit woman Ayen Mapuor and her five children

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Tarneit woman Ayen Mapuor and her five missing children Nyibeny and Ater Maker, and Maper, Maker and Athiey Mayen.

The children, Nyibeny aged two, Ater aged six, Maper aged eight, Maker aged 12 and Athiey aged 10-years-old are believed to be with their mother Ayen Mapuor aged 31-years-old.

They were last seen about 5pm yesterday leaving a Tarneit address.

It is believed they may be travelling by train.

Police and family have concerns for the welfare of the family as Ayen has a medical condition and due to the length of time they have been missing.

Investigators have released images of Ater, Maper, Maker, Athiey and Ayen in the hope that someone may recognise them and can provide information on their whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Nyibeny, Ater, Maper, Maker, Athiey or Ayen is urged to contact Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
