Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Lancaster last night.
It is understood two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lancaster and Dunbar roads about 10.35pm on Friday, 20 January.
The male driver of one of the vehicles, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, an 18-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A male passenger was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
