Police are investigating a fatal collision in Niddrie this morning.
It is believed a Toyota Corolla and a Mazda 3 collided on Keilor Road about 10am.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 79-year-old Preston man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda, a 62-year-old man and his passenger, a 58-year-old woman, were not injured.
The investigation into the exact cause of the collision remains ongoing.
