Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal single-vehicle crash in Cooriemungle earlier this morning.
Investigators believe the female driver was travelling east on the Cooriemungle Road when the car she was driving left the roadway and crashed into a tree just after 10.30am.
The female driver, who is still to be formally identified died at the scene.
