Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Modella this morning.
Officers have been told a car was travelling along Koo Wee Rup-Longwarry Road about 8.40am.
The driver lost control of the vehicle which left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
