Police are responding to fatal crash at Saddleworth, South Australia

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Saddleworth.

Just after 1pm on Saturday 18 September, police and emergency services were called to the Barrier Highway south of Golfcourse Road after reports of a single motorcycle crash.

The rider, a 31-year-old Paralowie man, was critically injured and sadly died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The highway was closed to all traffic including heavy vehicles, but has since been reopened.

The man’s death is the 69th life lost on SA roads compared with 63 at the same time last year.
