Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Gordonvale, that took the life of a 66-year-old rider today.
Early information indicates the man was riding a moped along Gillies Range Road at about 4pm when he lost control and crashed.
Emergency crews attempted to revive the man, however, he died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
