Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Mount Cameron this evening.
Officers believe a car was travelling along Clunes-Mount Cameron Road about 8.20pm.
The driver lost control of the car which left the road, went through a fence and caught fire.
Emergency services arrived at the scene but were unable to save the driver.
The investigation remains ongoing.
