Police are responding to fatal crash in Mount Palmer

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Mount Palmer today, Thursday 17 August 2023. Mount Palmer is approximately 70kms east of Southern Cross.

About 10.25am, a black coloured Jeep Grand Cherokee was travelling east on Great Eastern Highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.

The 56-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the Jeep sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
