Police are responding to fatal crash in Picton

A person has died in a single-vehicle crash at Picton this morning.

Emergency services were called to Picton Road, near the intersection of Maldon Bridge Road, about 4.45am (Sunday 3 April 2022), after reports an SUV left the road and rolled.

The male passenger of the vehicle died on scene and is yet to be formally identified.

The male driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for further assessment and mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command are being assisted at the scene by Fire and Rescue NSW.

Police have established a crime scene and – with the assistance of specialist police – have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
