Police are investigating a fatal crash in Saint Andrews this morning.
Emergency Services were travelling on Heidelberg-Kinglake Road, Saint Andrews when they located a car which had veered off the road and into a tree about 7.50am.
A 23-year-old woman, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
