Diversions are in place after a fatal crash at Sutton, in the Southern Tablelands.
About 12.35pm (Thursday 8 August 2019), a head-on collision occurred between two vehicles on Sutton Road, Sutton, near Wattle Flat Road.
The vehicles caught fire after the crash, and one person has been confirmed as deceased on the scene.
Another is being treated.
The road is expected to be closed in both directions for several hours.
Diversions are in place at the intersection of Sutton Road and the Federal Highway, Sutton, and Norton Road and Sutton Road, Queanbeyan.
Inquiries continue, a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
