A man has died following a crash at Tulka, near Port Lincoln, last night.
About 9.45 pm on Saturday 12 February, police and emergency services were called to Proper Bay Road after reports a car had crashed into a stobie pole.
A 46-year-old local man sadly died at the scene and the female passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, is in the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she is in a critical condition.
Proper Bay Road was closed to all traffic but has since reopened.
The man’s death is the 5th life lost on South Australian roads this year compared to 10 at the same time last year.
